I have two mothers and each had a calico/patch tabby. This little girl is from Gemma, my best Siberian mother, born mid November, when she had a litter of 4 kittens. It is difficult to produce red kittens because it is a sex-linked genetic issue. You can't get red kittens unless you have two parents that have red. One parent has to have red to produce torbie or calico kittens. So when calicos and patch tabby's are born, often they aren't offered for adoption. In this case I prayed long and hard since she is show/breeder quality, I wanted to keep her. But the Lord offered me a better plan so I am putting up for placement my pride and joy from Gemma, "Princess". I enjoy that she has a beauty mark like Marilyn Monroe. She won't be online long, as it is hard to come by this color.
The father and Gemma had extensive pre-breeding medical panel: blood, urine, stool). Father had ultra sound (heart), DNA testing, and is PKD1 Negative. Both are from lines that have precautionary testing. They were checked by their respective veterinarians and were determined to be in excellent health. Both parents are about as close to perfect Siberians as you can get. In Gemma's only show she took 5 out of 6 finals. She has never even had a cold in her 4 years of age.
Mom is shown as a mature kitten. Princess has completed her shots and will be ready for adoption within two weeks. Deposit is $300.
You will get in the mail the TICA Registration Paper when you name your kitten. Kittens come with their Shot Record, Spay/Neuter Record, Instruction sheet on caring for your kitten, and Initial supplies, including food the kitten is use to. I am shown here on my retirement date in June. :-)

Since I have two breeding females, my kittens are raised in my home unlike puppy/kitty mills which are totally a different item from serious TICA/CFA breeders. My kittens are raised underfoot with love. I have holding time for everyone, playtime with toys and feather sticks, and normal cat chases with Mama Gemma from living room couch to the master bathroom cat condo. Marcella's litter will be exceptionally people-oriented as I am in part bottle feeding to supplement her milk. She has enough milk for two kittens so that makes me the nursemaid around the clock. Fortunately that ends soon as they are close to the age for weaning to goats milk/ground turkey mush (Mama and kittens think it's delicious).
My two breeding mothers are retiring and have placements. Gemma leaves tomorrow and Marcella after her kittens are grown enough for placement. So my three new kittens will take time to grow so it will be a long time before I have kittens to offer.
Whatever Cat Breeders charge, please realize, a kitten costs $400 before it goes out the door. Pre-breeding costs, raw meat diet (all year, ongoing for the cats in the home), goats milk during weaning, best dry food, toys, veterinarian bills (spay/neuter, shots), pheromone plug-ins, flea/worm maintenance products (best from Canada/Australia), etc.
You only breed a Siberian once a year, starting at age 1 1/2, and they are retired by 6 1/2 (at the latest). One breeder used her mega-champion girl twice for breeding then spayed her. It is expensive and a lot of work. So you may gasp at what the price of kittens are across the nation, but the breeder is only trying to keep from going bankrupt and has earned every penny. She/He is making well below minimum wage.
